Target
To imagine a new and future focused solution for children in experiencing long-term hospitalisation with the theme play
Design Process
Rapid Iteration, Market Analysis, Brainstorming
After we each presented our rapid pitches we converged our ideas to create bitsyBUILD. This involved brainstorming our ideas and discussing our ideas. My key contributions leading towards the final outcome were under the product development sections, where I mainly focused on creating and developing the bitsyAPP for bitsyBUILD. Part of this development included expanding on the wireframes and creating the graphics for a working prototype to be produced for the final presentation. I created the itsyPLAY and bitsyBUILD logo to match our company’s values. I also contributed with the bitsyBUILD kit, creating instructions for use of our product as well as refining John’s backgrounds and creating new background options.
Final Outcome
System and Packaging
bitsyBUILD is an incremental platform product and service that will disrupt the exiting market within the hospital and toy industry. Currently, existing products for our target market only recognize achievements from children who have overcome certain treatments. itsyPLAY’s goal is to establish a sound business structure that enables primary and secondary customers to overcome the challenges faced while undergoing long-term hospital says, and is expected that bitsyBUILD will see a return on investment of 50% within its first year.
